1000th Kidney Transplant Celebration
In March of 2008 the Stony Brook University Medical Center, Transplantation Services performed it's 1,000th kidney transplant. This is a milestone event for any transplant program and we are proud of this achievement. Watch the video by clicking the link below and hear from patients about their experience at SBUMC. The SBUMC Transplantation Services has also been recognized by HRSA as having achieved a greater than 20% increase in the number of deceased donor kidney transplants performed in both 2007 and 2008.
