 Roxanne Palermo joined the Department of Radiology as Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology in the Division of Breast Imaging and Cross-sectional Imaging. Dr. Palermo received her medical degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook in Stony Brook, New York. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, New York. She subsequently completed her Radiology residency at SUNY at Stony Brook and Radiology fellowship in Cross-sectional Body Imaging with a three month elective in Mammography at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York City. Prior to joining us at Stony Brook, she was a staff radiologist at North Shore University Hospital Æ Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Palermo is Board Certified and is a member of the American Roentgen Ray Society. |
