Stony Brook Imaging Center
Designed for the comfort and convenience of patients and their families, services offered within the Center for Outpatient Services include The Imaging Center, The Center For Pain Management, and the Outpatient Cancer Center, which includes the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Care Center, Medical Oncology, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and Surgical Oncology. The new facility offers easy access, free parking and valet services, spacious and tranquil public areas and on-site food services.
"This facility was designed to be efficient both clinically and architecturally," says Dr. Fine. "It unites outpatient care specialists under one roof for the convenience of our patients, and is equipped with the most modern technology available in the areas of diagnostic imaging, pain management and cancer care."
Each area of the Center for Outpatient Services has its own unique features and benefits depending on the nature of the service offered. Each offers consultation rooms where physicians can meet with patients and family members in private, comfortable patient-centered stations for examinations.
The new facility provides a convenient, one-stop resource for our patients. It is also an ideal way for our medical experts to come together, share their knowledge, and to provide the best team care in the most efficient way possible.
