Welcome to the Department of Radiology of Stony Brook University and Stony Brook UniversityHospital. Our Department transverses both institutions and our common mission is a commitment to excellence in medical imaging, responsive service and the responsible use of our resources in clinical care, education and research. Our goal is to help our customers achieve their goals.

To the physicians and health care providers who refer their patients to us for diagnostic and therapeutic radiology services, we are committed to provide collaborative and courteous service and timely access to reliable information they need to effectively diagnose and provide care to their patients.

As you navigate thorough our site, I hope you will find the information that you desire. We are divided into a clinical section which deals with our policies and procedures as well as our preps for examinations and our state-of-the-art equipment and PACS system.

I believe we have the finest sub specialty imaging on Long Island and in the metropolitan area. Our academic section displays our residency, fellowship and medical student programs and all of the educational opportunities available at Stony brook University.

I am especially proud of our faculty who are some of the nation's best instructors and sub specialty clinicians. Our teaching file collection grows daily and is available to you for perusal and education. You can also link to our daily conference and grand rounds schedule.

Our research section highlights the various laboratories and grants of our research endeavors including our 3T Research MRI Center. We also serve as a site for the American College of radiology Imaging Network (ACRIN). There is an information section for our faculty and staff which includes our work assignment schedule, internal directory and other appropriate items for our staff.
