Faculty

The faculty of the Division of Evaluative Sciences will play a critical role in meeting these challenges by providing the analytical and statistical skills necessary to benchmark and evaluate health improvement initiatives in communities and health care settings.

Academic Interests: Health care policy, with an emphasis on workforce issues

Academic Interests: Health policy, particularly fairness and effectiveness of health care resource allocation and public support for fair and effective allocation of health resources.

Academic Interests: Statistical methods for community based interventions and health disparities research; Community based participatory research; Social determinants of health; Racial/ethnic health disparities 
 
Assistant Professor  
Academic Interests: Demography; Epidemiology of Sleep; Birth spacing patterns; International health; Social determinants of health
Amy Hammock, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor  
Academic Interests: Community-based participatory research; qualitative research methods; family violence.

Academic Interests: Health policy, preventive medicine and public health, drug abuse policy, exercise and sports, fitness, and wellness. 
 
Evonne Kaplan-Liss, M.D., M.P.H.
Clinical Assistant Professor  
Academic Interests: Pediatrics, preventive medicine/public health, pediatric environmental exposures, and journalism.
 
Assistant Professor  
Academic Interests: Exposure science, GIScience, health geography, and environmental epidemiology by developing methodologies for integrating sources of spatial, temporal, and spatio-temporal variability in environmental health applications.
