Welcome to the Division of Neonatal Medicine. Our physicians and staff maintain a 45-Bed level III, tertiary care neonatal intensive care unit. We offer a host of neonatal services including nitric oxide therapy, high-frequency ventilation as well as all pediatric sub-specialties. Unlike other tertiary-care hospitals in the area, our physicians are also professors in their field, associated with the Stony Brook University School of Medicine.
As the keystone of Suffolk County’s regional perinatal center, we are the premier referral center for the area’s most critically ill newborns. Our mission is to provide high quality, state-of-the-art care in a family supportive environment.
We are always interested in recruiting new faculty to contribute to our strong clinical and academic programs. Here you will find a supportive environment with protected time to pursue academic interests with the resources of a world-class undergraduate and graduate institution at your disposal, including consultants in experimental design, grant-writing and statistics.
Above all, we are dedicated to providing new faculty with the tools to achieve their goals in clinical and scientific medicine.
