The Division of Infectious Diseases provides inpatient and outpatient consultation services broadly concerned with the diagnosis and management of all types of acute and chronic pediatric infections including management of patients with congenital and acquired immunodeficiency.

Counseling and consultation are provided for patients concerned with risk and outcomes of congenital infectious diseases exposure. 

We offer three outpatient sessions per week evaluating children with fevers, Lyme disease, antibiotic, and all other infectious disease issues.  A daily inpatient consultative service is available for both pediatric floors, the NICU, and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.  A weekly travel medicine clinic is sponsored jointly by Pediatric Infectious Disease and the Department of Preventive Medicine.
