Recent Research/Publications

 

Dr. Fischel has published on early intervention, elimination disorders of childhood , developmental language delays, literacy readiness, reading interventions, and attentional disorders.  Her current research on interventions to enhance emergent literacy skills, especially for children from low-income families, has been conducted in partnership with Head Start.  She is a member of the National Early Literacy Panel of the National Center for Family Literacy.
