Endocrinology
The Division of Endocrinology provides consultation services for children who are referred by their primary physicians for evaluation and on going care for children with:
- diabetes mellitus
- thyroid disorders
- growth disorders
- disorders of calcium and phosphorous
- adrenal disorders
- hypoglycemia
- problems with sexual differentiation
- lipid disorders
- hypertension
- patients in need of nutritional services
Patients may be seen at the following convenient locations:
- Stony Brook University Medical Center (evening hours available)
- Stony Brook Primary Care Center in Patchogue
- Stony Brook Primary Care Center in Islip
