Scope of Practice:

 

• Diagnosis and Treatment of Cardiovascular Diseases in Infants, Children, Adolescents
• Adults with Congenital Cardiac Defects
• Diagnosis /Treatment of Cardiovascular Disease in the Fetus
• Preventive Cardiology Services – Fit Kids for Life program
• Diagnosis and Treatment of Hyperlipidemia in Children

Educational Activities:

• Teaching the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric cardiovascular disease in Pediatric and adults with congenital heart disease  to medical students, residents, fellows, nurses and other healthcare providers
• Continuing Education lectures and seminars for physicians, nurses, and other health care providers
• Recent lectures by the staff include:
  • Dr. Biancaniello: The Cardiovascular Evaluation of Infants, Children and Adolescents; Pediatric Sudden Death, Pre-athletic Cardiovascular Screening for Young Athletes; and Pediatric Cardiac Emergencies.
