Master Site Plan
Stony Brook University has embarked on a master plan which will bring additional state-of-the-art clinical and research facilities to our hospital.
The Major Modernization Project includes:
A new three story wing to house the Emergency Department and Women and Infants’ Center.
The Maternity Unit and Newborn Nursery have been completed.
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit opened in 2011.
Also completed in 2009 were a state-of-the-art Surgical Suite and new Lobby.
