Children's Health
Trends in pediatric healthcare have been prevention of illness and maintenance of health and treatment of illness. The goal is to foster growth and development of each child. A prime focus is on safety of children. Optimum health includes the practice of good nutrition, active lifestyle, mental wellbeing, proper medicine (when necessary) and a positive approach to healthcare. Parents, physicians, nurses, other caregivers, teachers and community members all must work together to achieve the overall goal of health and wellbeing of our children.
Routine checkups with your child's' pediatrician can help you achieve these goals. It is during these visits that you can discuss your child's growth and development and any concerns you may have. The following links can help you learn more about you child's health.
