Dr. Meenakshi Singh Named Employee of the Month at Stony Brook University Medical Center

Congratulations to Meenakshi Singh, MD, Vice Chair of Pathology and Director of Anatomic Pathology, who was named the Stony Brook University Medical Center Employee of the Month for August 2010. Dr. Singh has made a significant positive impact on operations, and has created a successful team environment, increasing communications, efficiency, and productivity. In addition to her administrative roles, she carries a significant clinical caseload in surgical pathology and is a very active researcher with numerous published studies. Recently Dr. Singh led the Anatomic Pathology division in a successful College of American Pathologists inspection, resulting in a very positive report with zero deficiencies and no areas needing improvement.
