Specialties include small incision sutureless cataract surgery, excimer laser refractive surgery (LASIK), corneal transplantation, corneal and anterior segment diseases, and comprehensive ophthalmology.

Interests include cataracts, laser surgical vision correction (refractive surgery), corneal transplants, anterior segment reoperations, corneal ulcers, pterygium, dry eye, ocular surface allergies, herpes keratitis, Sjogrens syndrome, conjunctival and corneal tumors among others.
