The Department of Ophthalmology is expanding and seeking full time positions in the following specialties:
Pediatric Glaucoma Cornea Comprehensive ophthalmology
We are seeking candidates who have excellent clinical skills, a commitment to resident education and an interest in clinical research. Special consideration will be extended to applicants who are also interested in residency program administration. Qualifications include completion of an accredited residency program, board eligibility/certification and NY State licensure.
The department recently established a new ophthalmology residency program and is undergoing establishment of a new Children’s Hospital. Salary is negotiable and competitive based on training and experience. Stony Brook is a waterfront, suburban community with an excellent school system, 1 hour from New York City.
