Consultations and Referrals
| The Dept of Ophthalmology provides a comprehensive range of services from routine, general eye care to highly specialized consultation services. All members of the full time staff have faculty appointments at SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine and are board certified with fellowship training in each of the subspecialties of Ophthalmology. The availability of a coordinated team of ophthalmic subspecialists in one location ensures that each patient has access to the most highly trained and qualified member of the group. We are committed to providing the highest quality care and to communicate with the referrring health care provider in order to provide timely, well coordinated care. |
