|Residency Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology: Appointment and Promotion|
Appointments to the graduate training program in Obstetrics and Gynecology are made annually for the academic year beginning July 1st and ending June 30th. Appointments at the first year level (PGY-1) carry the assurance of annual reappointment in the progressive program provided that performance and development have been satisfactory.

PGY2: $59,410 Includes $2500 living allowance.
PGY3: $62,822 *All higher than 75th percentile regionally/nationally.

Each resident is given $2000 book allowance prorated over the four years of training to purchase materials necessary to promote their education. These funds have been commonly used to purchase textbooks, journal subscriptions or meeting registration fees.
