Biographical Sketch:
Dr Thomas Preston is a pediatric neuropsychologist in the Department of Neurology. He obtained his PhD from Vanderbilt University, and completed fellowships in child clinical psychology and neuropsychology at the Yale Child Study Center and the University of Rochester. Before coming to Stony Brook, he was pediatric neuropsychologist at Children's Hospital of Western Ontario and adjunct assistant professor at the University of Western Ontario. His clinical and research interests include disorders of executive function, cognitive effects of CNS infection, head trauma, and psychosocial adjustment to illness.
