William Moore, MD, Chief of Thoracic Imaging. Dr. Moore is a board-certified radiologist and diagnostic radiologist, who specializes in thoracic (chest) imaging, which includes advanced technologies such as PET-CT fusion scanning (x-ray imaging by means of combined positron emission tomography and computed tomography). He also performs CT-guided biopsies. Dr. Moore, along with Dr. Bilfinger, performs radiofrequency ablation and cryoablation of early-stage lung cancer tumors for patients who are not considered good candidates for surgery. The newest and most advanced equipment is at his disposal. He is an active investigator in clinical trials, particularly involving new ablation techniques.
