Criteria for application to the Department of Medicine Internal Medicine Residency Training Program at Stony Brook University Medical Center:
- Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) applications only
- Three letters of recommendation including one from the Chairman of the Department of Medicine affiliated with your medical school
- Your Dean's letter (Medical Student Performance Evaluation)
- Your medical school transcript
- Your personal statement
- USMLE, Step I transcript
- A photograph is highly recommended by the Ranking Committee
- Each application is reviewed on the basis of its own merits
