The program empowers clinicians to “prescribe” services such as food stamp assistance or Medicaid enrollment. Health Leads’ Student Advocates use a robust resource database built together with community advisors and continuously updated to ensure accuracy to connect families with these resources. Weill Cornell Medical College is seeking students to fill part-time data collector positions based in the Division of Prevention and Health Behavior in the Department of Public Health to begin late January. The division’s research focuses on identifying behavioral risk factors for major chronic diseases such as cancer and cardiovascular disease, and developing and evaluating intervention strategies to prevent these health problems. The Department of Surgery is seeking a MPH graduate student worker to provide support in data entry and descriptive analysis/reporting related to a breast reconstruction surgery research project at Stony Brook University School of Medicine.
