Welcome to our Residency Program Information Page
At Stony Brook University Medical Center, we offer more than 20 exceptional residency program choices. Currently, there are 500 plus residents and fellows with more than 800 clinical faculty to support their training. All residents and fellows have faculty appointments as clinical assistant instructors.
Whether you’re looking for pediatrics, family medicine, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry, surgery, emergency medicine, or any of our many other exciting and challenging opportunities, you’ll find that being a resident at Stony Brook University Medical Center will provide you with a disciplined educational experience, as well as a fantastic life experience.
