Registration and Course Information

The Office for Student Affairs registers all medical students with Stony Brook University for each term of enrollment. Enrollment in courses outside those prescribed in the medical curriculum is permitted only when the student is participating in an approved combined degree program, or secures the approval of the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs. Registration is not complete and enrollment may not occur until the student has paid fees, been released from any Stony Brook University checklist, and complied with immunization and health insurance requirements. Medical students who have not complied with the above, will not be permitted to attend classes or clinical experiences.
