The School of Dental Medicine recognizes that dental education does not end with the award of a dental degree, and is committed to continuing education. Courses in the various clinical and related basic science disciplines are offered each year to the dental communities of Queens, Nassau and Suffolk counties for practicing dentists, dental residents, educators and dental auxiliaries.

Directions to CEWIT Building
Located in the Stony Brook Research and Technology Park
From Long Island Expressway
Take LIE (495) to Exit 62 Nicolls Road (97) North. Drive approximately 8.5 miles to the South entrance of Stony Brook University. This entrance will be on your left. Turn onto South Drive and follow South Drive, through two traffic lights to the end which will be Stony Brook Road. At the end, make a right and the building site will be on your left hand side exactly .3 miles.
From Nesconset Highway (347)
Take Stony Brook Road (1/4 mile west of Nicolls Road - Hess gas station and Duane Reade Drug on corner) North exactly 1.9 miles to CEWIT building entrance on west (left) side of road.
From Wang Center
Head South on Circle Road past Parking Garage. At traffic circle, go three-quarters the way around to Marburger Drive and head South. At traffic light, turn right onto South Drive. Continue to end and make right on Stony Brook Road. At the end, make a right and the building site will be on your left hand side exactly .3 miles. |
