Our concern for health awareness in our community also leads us to promote blood pressure screenings to all who are interested. We also provide physician referrals and we'll even make appointments for you.

If you need to know what's on at Stony Brook University's Staller Center we have programs and information. If you need Stony Brook University information, we are also here to help. As a courtesy, Notary Public services are also provided.

The mission of Stony Brook University Medical Center is to provide excellence in patient care, education, research and community service and as resource centers for the community we help to make this possible.

We recruit the expert services of healthcare professionals to act as guest speakers, delivering detailed information on topics of interest, as well as to answer any questions relevant to their fields. These forums are based on public suggestion.

Our resource center staff takes the hospital out into the community by setting up promotional tables at health fairs and by visiting community based clubs, organizations, and all others interested in housing such an event. We make the services of Stony Brook University Medical Center known and satisfy the queries of the people of our community.

If you would like to make your services available at our centers, or if you would like us to participate in an event that you are hosting, please contact us at one of the Resource Center locations listed above.
