Social Skills - Enrollment

Group fees and enrollment process:
Group fee: $50.00 per week.  Monthly payment due on or before the first group meeting.

If you are interested in enrolling your child, please print the application questionnaire,  fill it out, and return, either to the address or fax listed below. You may also obtain a copy of the form by calling (631) 632-8983.

Shortly after your application has been received and reviewed, a member of the Social Skills Training team will call you to confirm the receipt of your application. Based upon availability of appropriate group openings, we will then arrange an intake appointment for your child.  At the intake your child will be placed in a small group situation with two or three other children to assess each child's social strengths and needs.  Please note that grouping of children into intake appointments does not necessarily indicate actual group assignments. The goal of the screening process is to develop compatible groups, and to place your child appropriately as soon as possible.  Please be advised that group assignment is dependant on the compatibility of your child’s needs with those of other children. Therefore there may be instances where your child can be assigned to a group immediately, and other instances in which your child will be on a wait list until an appropriate group becomes available. There may be instances where, after the screening process, we are unable to meet the needs of a particular child.  It that case we will provide you with a list of other social skills programs in the area that may be appropriate for your child.
