Behavioral and Educational Programs
Cody Center services are designed to help individuals with disabilities obtain appropriate education and achieve success in the community. Services
are provided by psychologists, special education teachers and social workers.
Educational evaluations and school observations involve assessment of the patient’s behavioral and cognitive functioning, and
review of his or her educational history and test results. Written reports are issued for parents or guardians to share with school districts
or other agencies. To schedule your evaluation or observation call 631-632-3070.
Social skills training is delivered in group settings for children ages six to sixteen and follows a structured format addressing
specific goals, such as starting a conversation, taking turns and coping with conflict. A program description and enrollment form may be obtained
by calling 631-632-3706 or visiting the Social Skills site.
