BCBA Courses
Individuals considering pursuing board certification as a behavior analyst should, as a first step, carefully review all the information on the Behavior
Analyst Certification Board web site,
www.bacb.com. The full complement of requirements
represents a substantial commitment of time and effort, and should be fully understood before embarking on the course requirement.
The courses are open to students who have earned a Baccalaureate at an accredited university or college. Although it is not a requirement
for admission, it is highly recommended that only those students with a serious commitment to the field of behavior analysis consider enrolling in
these courses. Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities using behavior analytic principles is also recommended.
