BCBA Courses
The Cody Center at Stony Brook University is pleased to be able to offer a graduate course sequence that meets the 225 hour coursework requirement for
taking the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Examination. The courses described here have been reviewed and approved by the Behavior Analyst
Certification Board. The courses are taught by highly qualified and experienced behavior analysts who also have the approval of the Certification
Board.
Board certification as a behavior analyst (BCBA) is recognized nationwide as verification of extensive training and practice in the field of behavior
analysis. Increasingly, school systems, service providers, and families of individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities are seeking
individuals with the experience and understanding implied in this credential, with a goal of improving services and optimizing outcomes for children
and adults affected by these disorders.
