Description: Learn about surgical advances including minimally invasive techniques and reconstructive surgery, for thyroid, head and neck cancers. Radiation oncology treatment, speech pathology and the latest research will also be discussed. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.

Facing the Challenge: Surviving Cancer Since losing one of his legs to bone cancer in 1973 at the age of 12, Ted Kennedy Jr. has devoted his life’s work to advocating civil rights for the disabled. He has lectured around the world about his experiences with cancer to help motivate, teach and inspire future generations of cancer survivors to stand up for their rights and take charge of their lives.11 am Guest Check-In (box lunch provided to those who register by May 25)

Outdoor Activities
Activities include Dunk-a-Doc, Bedpan Golf, Chemo Bag Toss, Face Painting, Fire Truck Visit and a Scavenger Hunt. Musical entertainment and light refreshments will be provided.
