Only specially trained registered pharmacists compound and dispense anti-neoplastic (chemotherapy) medications. Each order undergoes a multiple double-check process in which the pharmacist reviews the physician order, recalculates the dosage, performs allergy checks, and identifies potential drug-drug or drug-food interactions.

For efficiency and convenience, our adult and pediatric inpatient and outpatient areas each have their own pharmacy. All are certified USP 797-compliant facilities that meet the most rigorous government requirements for the preparation of sterile compounds. They also employ state-of-the-art equipment and quality control measures that surpass stringent government requirements.
