Mission
In addition to supporting Stony Brook University Medical Center's mission to provide excellence in patient care, education, research and community
service, through commitment to the core values of Quality/Excellence, Integrity/Honesty, and respect, the Ambulatory Surgery Center is dedicated to
providing superior quality surgical care with concern and compassion. The admission policies of the facility will be such as to enhance access to services
for all residents of the community regardless of their racial and ethnic status, their gender, and their ability to pay.
In partnership with our medical staff, we strive for a coordinated network of healthcare services for our community. People provide our services. They are our strongest resource and we support their growth and development.
