Academic Tutors
A selected group of fourth year students, members of the AOA(Alpha Omega Alpha) Honor society, serve as AOA tutors to help students who need additional tutoring. Any such tutoring request has to be approved by the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr Chandran. All tutoring will be confidential. Faculty tutors are available on a limited basis for those students who have significant difficulties with course work. In the first year of medical school, most courses have TAs ( teaching assistants) who can help you regularly. Also feel free to use the office hours that most course directors provide for student assistance.
